Computer science meets particle physics.

I’m Peter, the creator and developer of Game That Neutrino. I’m a computer science major with a physics minor at Drexel University, and I’ve been part of the Name That Neutrino team at Drexel University since spring 2026.

This project brings my studies in computing and physics together: an interactive way to explore neutrino event displays, practice identifying Tracks and Cascades, and compare your observations with other players.

The person behind the project

Created by Peter Tzimoulis.

I created and developed Game That Neutrino: the interactive experience that takes you from watching an event display to making a classification, earning coins, and comparing your calls with the crowd.

With credit and thanks to the Name That Neutrino team at Drexel University and the IceCube Collaboration for the scientific context behind the game.
